The Place


Angel island located in Sanfricsco Bay has been used for a variety of purposes, including military forts, a US Public health Service Quarantine Station and a US immigration Detention Facility.

Know Before you Go


We will be hiking a 7 mile loop around the island and having our meeting at Perles Beach. We will be taking a ferry to the island out of Tiburon. Ferry leaves for the Island at 10am so please arrive no later than 9:30 to insure you have time to buy your ticket and board the ferry. Tickets are $15 per person this also includes entrance fee to the park. This is a hike you wont want to miss; there is alot of history to see on the island.

Directions:

Take 101 North across the GG Bridge & take the Tiburon blvd. exit. Turn right & follow Tiburon Blvd. 4 miles. Park in one of the all day pay lots. Walk to the ferry terminal at 21 Main st. Drive time is 1 hour 30 minutes and parking is 5-20$ depending on location. No dogs allowed.
