Manresa State Beach located south of Aptos offers views of bluff-backed sand and sea including the Santa Cruz Mountains and hills of Monterey Peninsula.

The Hike

We will begin the hike at the parking lot then down the stairs to the beach.  We will continue on the beach about 1 mile and hike up to the Manresa campground amphitheater for the meeting spot.  We will return via a small trail looking over the beach and then return walking along the beach on the same route back to the parking lot.

Getting There

From San Jose take CA-17 South toward Santa Cruz.  Take exit 1B for CA-1 South toward Watsonville/Monterey.  Take exit 432 for San Andreas Rd toward Seascape. Take the San Andreas Rd ramp to Seascape.  Merge onto San Andreas Rd.  Turn Right. Turn Left.  Pay Parking fee and park in Parking lot 345 Seawind Rd.

Know Before You Go

Parking fee $10.  Dogs allowed on a leash.  Wear sunscreen we will be hiking on beach most of the way.
